Our Impact

We impact families across ethnic, geographic and socio-economic demographics. Many of the families we are able to help are refugees who have come to this country to make a safe and stable environment for their children to learn and grow.

Stories of Success

Twenty-eight years ago I embarked on a new adventure, starting my own child care business, as caring for children was a passion of mine. I had never been a business owner and was in the dark about many aspects of the child care business. I had very little equipment and educational material. I soon discovered the Chicano Federation, which provided guidance and support in helping me set up my business, and help my by providing infant and toddler educational materials and toys. Working hand in hand with the Chicano Federation, I have cared for many children in the San Diego community.

Since that time, my business has significantly expanded, and I am now providing child care day and nights to serve our communities. I am deeply grateful to the Chicano Federation for enabling me to follow my passion in the child care field!
