Chicano Federation has a legacy of tackling important social issues and ensuring communities have a voice in the policies that impact their lives. During the COVID-19 health crisis, we are working on San Diego’s frontlines to meet the emerging needs of children, families, tenants, and childcare providers throughout the County.
Our commitment to our entire community has not wavered and we are working to meet the needs of anyone who turns to us for assistance – even if they are not currently enrolled in any of our programs. While the pandemic has caused an inevitable shift in our work, Chicano Federation’s dedication to the San Diego community is stronger than ever.

$25 – Provides a grocery store gift card for a low-income family
$50 – Provides a week of fresh produce delivery for one household
$75 – Provides two weeks of grocery delivery for a senior affordable housing resident
$100 – Provides cleaning supplies/protective gear for a family childcare home
$250 – Provides utility bill relief for one month one of our affordable housing residents
$500 – Provides rent relief for an affordable housing resident with a certified need
